WebDec 7, 2024 · The ASTRABAT project has now completed specifications for the materials and cell architectures that will be developed later in the project for electric vehicles. Furthermore, it has set out replicable test protocols for characterising materials and qualifying performance of the all-solid-state cells with emphasis on safety. WebASTRABAT is funded by the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) of the European Commission, for a total budget of approximately € 8M. The project is part of a broader drive by the European Union to boost electric mobility in order to help achieve its goal to slash greenhouse gas emissions by 80-95% by 2050.
