Cervicotypes
WebCervical cancer starts in the lower part of the uterus in the cells lining the cervix. The three types of cervical cancer we treat are: Squamous cell carcinoma: most common form; develops in the cervical cells closes to the vagina. Adenocarcinoma: starts in the glandular cells. Mixed carcinoma: less common; cancer is found in both types of cells.
