There are a few major red flags here: 1- high myopia is a risk factor for retinal tears & detachments, 2- sudden increase in floaters can be a symptom of the same, 3- the Optomap (I've had one for 13 years) is a great instrument but is NOT a substitute for dilation, especially when looking for possible RT/RD.
