I was using a tuner to check out my intonation and I was playing sharp on everything from a G above the staff up to a high E. In my mind, my pitch was spot on but the tuner told me otherwise. For example, top space E is always flat, but as the temperature decreases, this E will get flatter by larger amounts. Each trumpet has slightly different intonation issues.
