WebbI turned off the laptop and unplugged it, then cleaned the trackpad with rubbing alcohol. Once it dried, it was easy to peel and stick the protectors on the pad and buttons. I've been using this protector set for 2 months now and there's no detectable wear on them. The touchpad works just like it did before applying the protector.
