WebThe Lower World is the home of the various helper spirits, referred to as Power Animals, which can become helpers and protectors of the shamanic practitioner. Journeying without one or more personal power animals is not recommended. In most cases, an accomplished practitioner will journey for the novice and bring back a power animal for them.
