It didn't go up as high but still consistantly read just above the normal mark … WebbStart by removing the radiator bung: Under the bonnet is a square hole with a plastic bolt in it remove bolt till green goo comes out, tighten only very slightly. Then remove the engine cover and at the rear of the engine you should find a metal pipe with an 8mm headed bolt in it, again, remove till green goo comes out.

The car I am likely going to be offered is a 2001 model which has some service history, plenty of old MOT's, looks clean and tidy from photos but I have yet to see it in the flesh. WebbOn my old TF Sunstorm I didn't have an overheating issue just a very poor heater, I flushed out as the above, I was surprised at the amount of debris that came out and when I looked at the internal bore of the steel underfloor pipes I could see where it had come from (new S/S underfloor ordered and fitted) Brian.
