Now they are not the favourite any more, because they drew in their home game. I still think that they are the favourite although they ave to play away from home. WebJul 18, 2024 · I think Luzern is a nicer, more interesting town than Chur but you don't have much time to explore anyway and I would choose the Bernina Express over the Gotthard Express if it was me. WebLuzern itself is endlessly called the most beautiful city in Switzerland, it is easy to see why (though it isn’t my first choice). It is rather small and only takes 3-4 hours (including a coffee) to see everything. This is my basic tour when taking people to Luzern, also in image form if the link is broken.

WebJan 1, 2007 · I think Luzern is much more typically Swiss than Lausanne is. Luzern is set on a lake with mountains spilling right into the water. The peaks of Riti & Pilatus are nearby while Titlis is not far away. While we've spent a night or two in Zurich on our last two trips, and the Old Town section is very interesting, I think Luzern is much more tourist friendly.
