If it is one of the Truma elements they are expensive to replace, probably not worth the bother. Boiler works better on gas an gas is cheaper than electricity. Press the reset button (k) on the control unit until the red LED (j) flashes rapidly. I have checked to see if it needs a battery for ignition but i cant see one. The manual does not cover this fault and I cant see why its happening.
